Why Give?

Why Give?

Need one reason to give to the Children’s Hospital of Georgia?
We have four.

Henry

Children need a hospital just for children.
We all know that children are special. But many times, we forget that kids are more than just small adults. They have special needs and require special expertise. And they come in all sizes, from the tiniest newborn to a nearly grown teenager. At Children’s Hospital of Georgia, we provide specialized diagnosis, treatment, equipment and support for kids of all ages and all sizes.

Asia

We are committed to finding better ways to treat children.
As part of an academic medical center, we are at the forefront of medicine, conducting the research that advances pediatric medicine and bringing the treatments and technologies of tomorrow to children today. Our team of pediatric specialists - the largest number in the area - use their expertise and training to treat everything from common childhood illnesses to life-threatening conditions.

Cody

Children and their families matter most at Children’s Hospital of Georgia.
We're a hospital designed by children, for children. Children and their parents are active participants in the hospital, serving on advisory committees and directly contributing to our mission of providing patient- and family-centered care. Children and parents were involved in the design of the hospital, working with planners and architects to make the hospital child- and family-friendly throughout. It's no surprise, then, that the result is an award-winning facility.

Stanley

We are a not-for-profit organization.
We rely on philanthropic and volunteer support to help us provide high quality care for our children. Your gift makes a difference in the life of each child we treat. It is through the generosity of our donors and volunteers that we are able to purchase specially designed equipment and supplies for children, offer patient-centered programs and services, and recruit and retain world-class pediatric physicians and other health care professionals.
