Mother and daughter reading The Family Resource Library is designed with pediatric patients and their families in mind – a place where children can read and parents can relax.

The Library is designed for patients and families of the Children’s Hospital of Georgia. It contains over 600 books and resources related to:

  • Children's Health Issues
  • Self-Help Topics
  • Leisure Reading for Children and Adults
  • Internet access to search for health topics of your choice
  • Family Support Coordinator is available for assistance Monday - Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

All services are free of charge.

The Family Resource Library is a key element of the Patient and Family Centered Care values in Children’s Hospital of Georgia. The children's hospital is a dynamic mix of people in a place designed to serve today's children, teens and families. The Family Resource Library is designed with pediatric patients and their families in mind - a place where children can read and parents can relax.

Hours and Location
The Family Resource Library is in room BT 1801 on the first floor of the Children’s Hospital of Georgia. It is open from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.
