We are pleased to announce that Edward Szabo, DPM, has joined the Medical College of Georgia Department of Orthopaedic Surgery as Clinical Assistant Professor.
Edward Szabo, DPM, attended Medical College of Ohio and is a graduate of the University of Toledo and Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. He served as the Chief Podiatric Resident at University Hospital’s Health System of Cleveland-Richmond Heights Hospital.
He worked in private practice in Perrysburg and Maume, Ohio. Dr. Szabo’s experience includes all aspects of Podiatry. He is board certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. His primary area of expertise lies in Forefoot Reconstruction, to include repair of bunion and hammertoe deformities as well as lesser metatarsal deformities.
Additionally, Dr. Szabo is experienced in diabetic foot care management from evaluations to wound care management to limb salvage, as well as common podiatric dermatological problems like in-grown nails and warts.
