Hospital Mortality Rates
As an academic medical center, our skilled staff cares for patients who are extremely ill and critically injured. As we care for patients with increasingly complex conditions, we continue to experience a decrease in the percentage of our patients who die. We accomplish this through dedicated team work and early recognition of patients experiencing unanticipated complications (please see Rapid Response Team).
