Uncovertebral joints (Luschka's joints)
These are the anterior joint surfaces in the Cervical motion segment. They lie parallel to one another, at the lateral edges of the cervical disc. They serve as important landmarks during surgery. The paired vertebral arteries lie just lateral to the uncovertebral joints.
