Heart Walk Fundraising Events
GRU/GRHealth is supporting the American Heart Association (AHA) with dress-down days each Friday during the month of February (February 6, 13, 20 and 27). Help to give back to AHA, an organization that gave more than $7 million to GRU in research funding in 2014, making us eighth in the nation! Please see below for rules and restrictions.
Important dates:
- Those who want to wear their shirts for dress-down days must place their orders by Friday, January 2. The shirts ordered by this deadline will be available for pickup during designated dates and times, which will be shared via email with those who placed orders.
- Those who cannot meet the Friday, January 2 deadline but still want to purchase a shirt for the Heart Walk must place their orders by Friday, February 6. The shirts ordered by this deadline will be available for pickup 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, March 6 in the Lee Auditorium lobby.
Payment: Please bring a check made out to "GRMC" or cash ($15 for short-sleeved t-shirts, $20 for long-sleeved shirts) when you pick up your shirt.
*Shirts will only be distributed to those who have their ID badge and whose name is on the order.
Rules and restrictions: The dress-down concept is subject to the rules and regulations of each department. Please consult with your manager, and exercise good judgment. The official Heart Walk shirt must be worn in order to participate.
