Chaplain Henry Holt III, M.Div.

Chaplain Henry Holt, III is the Pastoral Care Coordinator at Georgia Regents Health System. He is a native of Louisville, Kentucky, he is married to Ms. Deltrye Holt, an Assistant Professor, Georgia Regents University, College of Science and Mathematics, and he is the father of two sons, Henry, IV, and Jared. 

Chaplain Holt earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Paine College in 1999.  He earned the Master of Divinity degree from the Interdenominational Theological Center Seminary in Atlanta, Georgia, and completed four units of Clinical Pastoral Education at Self Regional Medical Center in Greenwood, South Carolina in 2013.   

Chaplain Holt currently serves as Pastoral Care Coordinator at Georgia Regents Health System.  Areas of concentration include Cancer Center, Oncology (5th Floor), and Medical ICU.  He is also a member of the Association of Professional Chaplains, and is endorsed by the National Baptist Convention USA, Inc. for chaplaincy. 

Chaplain Holt’s prior clinical work consists of a Bereavement Coordinator at Heartland Hospice, Augusta, Georgia, a chaplain at University Hospice, Augusta, Georgia, a chaplain at Hospice Care of Tri-County, Aiken, South Carolina, and a chaplain at Georgia Regional Hospital, Augusta, Georgia.  Chaplain Holt also served as pastor of the Saint Paul Missionary Baptist Church, Girard, Georgia.

Chaplain Holt enjoys spending quality time with family, traveling, playing golf, basketball, and motorcycling.  His desire is to help people find meaning on their spiritual journey.
