Multidisciplinary Care for Cleft Lip and Palate and Other Craniofacial Anomalies
The Georgia Regents Medical Center Craniofacial Center -- the only center of its kind in the CSRA -- is staffed by a team of specially trained surgeons and healthcare professionals who deliver coordinated care for cleft lip and palate and other craniofacial abnormalities.
This team cares for adults and children with congenital anomalies and traumatic defects of the craniofacial region. Due to the complexity of this anatomic area, a team approach is the best way to manage problems of the craniofacial skeleton and soft tissue. The Center provides the best care possible using a family-centered approach. Many of the members of the team are nationally and internationally renowned experts in their fields. The team includes:
- Plastic surgeons
- Otolaryngologists
- Oral maxillofacial surgeons

- Geneticists
- Pediatric dentists
- Pediatric nurses
