The Emotional Support You and Your Family Need

If you or a member of your family has been diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, multiple sclerosis or other neurological diseases, you may feel lost, alone and in need of emotional support. Georgia Regents Medical Center sponsors the following support groups to allow you to gain strength and share your experiences with others who are walking the same path.

Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, ALS, Support Group

2nd Thursday of each month 
11 a.m.-2 p.m. (lunch provided)

Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Support Group

Huntington’s Disease, Essential Tremor, and Dystonia – there are no regularly scheduled support group meetings at this time. They hope to resurrect them, and we can advertise at such time.

Parkinson's Disease

The CSRA Parkinson’s Disease Support Group meets in Augusta and Aiken.

  • In Augusta, meetings are held on the 4th Tuesday of the month, except December, at 6p in the St John Towers Dining Room at 724 Greene Street in downtown Augusta.  For more information call 706-364-1662.
