The Georgia Regents Medical Center Neurocritical Care Unit at the Neuroscience Center treats all medical and surgical neurology patients who require 24 hour clinical monitoring due to serious and life-threatening neurological illnesses. Patients with emergency neurological conditions are immediately brought to the Neurocritical Care Unit to be monitored and cared for throughout all phases of the critical care process.
The Neurocritical Care Unit offers support for a variety of issues, including:
