Look for a Board-certified Maternal-Fetal Medicine Physician
Many obstetricians deliver high risk obstetric care, but only those with additional fellowship training can become board-certified in this field. In addition, Georgia Regents Medical Center operates one of only six state-designated Regional Perinatal Centers, to which physicians refer high risk patients.
