CMC Family Advisory Council

The CMC Family Advisory Council consists of parents, family members and guardians of children who use or have used the services of the Children’s Hospital of Georgia. The parents represent a wide variety of pediatric specialties and geographic areas with respect to cultural diversity. The council generates discussion on a variety of topics ranging from children's menus to the admissions process. Additionally, the council initiates and participates in projects benefiting the Children’s Hospital of Georgia and its families. The CMC recognizes the importance of and is committed to providing a family -centered care facility. This Family Advisory Council provides the mechanism to generate strong parent and family direction; additionally, this group provides the necessary energy and enthusiasm to develop an effective program that promotes parent/family participation. The Family Advisory Council meets the 1st Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM in BT1931, the Family Services Conference room.
