Donna Vasil, Pharm.D.
Donna Vasil received her post baccalaureate Pharm.D. degree from the University of Kentucky. After graduation, she completed a 2-year residency at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. She is a former Board member and District Director for the Georgia Society of Health-System Pharmacists (GSHP). Donna serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor (without salary) at the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy. Donna has contributed close to 30 years at our organization serving as a clinical pharmacist and preceptor. She was honored as the UGA College of Pharmacy "Preceptor of the Year" in 2004. For many years Donna served as the Surgery Pharmacy Specialist which also included a leadership role in teaching and monitoring inpatient renal transplant patients. In 2010, she transitioned to a new role as the Renal Transplant Team pharmacist where she is involved in ambulatory evaluations for potential donors and transplant recipients as well as inpatient care of these patients pre and post-transplant.

Cynthia Harris Ware, R.Ph.
Cynthia Ware is an experienced pharmacist who will be a new preceptor-in-training in 2015 after 24 years of hospital pharmacy experience including nine years as a night shift supervisor and eight years as the Director of Pharmacy for McDuffie Regional Medical Center, a critical access hospital in Thompson, Georgia. Most recently, Cynthia had been serving as an Oncology Pharmacist at Georgia Regents Medical Center. She completed an Anticoagulation Therapy Management Certificate program from the University of Southern Indiana and in summer 2014 assumed responsibility for the pharmacist-managed Anticoagulation Clinic at Georgia Regents Medical Center
